Society of Professional Journalists Praises DPC Member Site

NEWARK, NJ - Rick Racela, Cape May County Herald Webmaster, accepted the Best Web Page Design award on behalf of the Herald online team.
“I have accepted this award on behalf of a very talented Herald team and software development group, The Digital Press Consortium,” said Racela. The last year has seen tremendous growth with our online skills and tools that we have developed. There is so much left to do and learn. Our website has previously been recognized nationally as the best site among newspapers our size. It’s gratifying to be recognized now by the New Jersey chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in competition with dailies and weeklies throughout New Jersey.”
